We, the green explorers of the Society Natura 2020 from Slovenia, are guardians of 400 million years old mountain creek Lobnica, the humming pearl of the Pohorje mountainside in the Eastern Alps.
We expose its discovery as a cosmopolitan find, which is the oldest of this kind in the world. The Lobnica creek flows through the virgin forest Šumik as a part of the water circle Black lake–Black Sea. This exceptional find for a global tourism is protected by non-profit brand Natura 2020, which marks first-rate exploratory determination, which made us possible to discover boutique tourism-friendly unique characteristics of the geographic ecosystem Pohorje mountainside-Drava river-Kozjak mountainside.
